a word on creativity

I can bet you've heard someone say "I'm just not creative!" or even you yourself have said that before. I've decided that's just a simple lie. What I've learned as I've begun working towards my future career and searching for jobs that fit my skill set and interest, is that creativity is something that defines everyone. It's a part of every single person and makes YOU so unique from the rest even if you don't see it now.
It actually makes me sad when people don't believe they're creative. There is always something and even more than one thing that make you so creatively different than any other person in the world. Here's what I mean by this:
You don't have to be creative in your work or job to be a creative person. We all have passions, both little or big. And these passions are important; they characterize your personality.
I recently read a blog post that I now can't find (lol) where the writer listed all the things that she's grateful for, and those things, I think, make her special in her own way.
Some things that I am both grateful for and I believe make me creative are: folk music, amateur calligraphy, sunny weather, space movies, etc.
SO I encourage you to reflect on what makes you YOU. You are so very special and I hope that as you continue to grow and find new things you like and dislike, that you'll truly start to believe how you were so creatively designed to change the world in your own way.
